ELIPTIC Final Conference brings project to a close

ELIPTIC held a conference with leading public transport and industry figures to disuss its succeses and bring the project to a close (Bremen, 26-27 April 2018).

The technological concepts analysed within the eleven project cities were showcased alongside key speeches, presentations and a panel roundtable. Those in attendance were given the opportunity to discuss the project findings and related subjects with partners such as business cases, SWOT analysis, transferability, energy law and regulation for multi-purpose charging systems, electric bus charging standardisation, national electric bus plans and future projects.

ELIPTIC co-funded by the European Union’s H2020 programme and coordinated by the City of Bremen which began in 2015. The project aims to develop new concepts and business cases in order to optimise existing electric public transport infrastructure and rolling stock, saving both money and energy.
